The successful candidate is expected to be able to handle the full cycle of accounting, Key responsibilities include:
  • Bookkeeping and Financial Statements: maintaining accounting records, preparing financial reports, e.g. P&L, Balance sheet, cash flow and budgets/forecasts
  • Accounts Payable (money out): maintenance of AP ledger and making payments
  • Accounts Receivable and Revenue Tracking (money in): revenue recognition, maintenance of sales data/AR ledger, billing and processing incoming payments
  • Regulatory Reporting: provide support on preparation of regulatory reporting to FSA, JSDA and other regulatory bodies. Assist on other types of reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Employee Disbursements: make sure expenses are recorded and disbursements are executed properly
  • Tax: proper tax filing and tax payments
  • Financial Controls: continuous efforts to improve/maintain internal controls to avoid errors, fraud and theft
  • Other relevant administrative assignments
  • 5+ years of experience as a hands-on all-round accountant in accordance with J GAAP/IFRS
  • Good Japanese language proficiency (both spoken and written)
  • Highly motivated self-starter with good communication skills
  • Bachelor or above degrees from a well-known university in Finance related majors
  • Advanced computer skills (MS excel, word, etc.) and accounting system (SAP, Oracle, Kanjo Bugyo,etc.)

  • Experience of working in security firms or other financial institutions
  • Candidates with data entry and database management skills
  • Experience to deal with startup companies
  • NISSHO bookkeeping 2nd grade or higher

DCM Engineer

Our DCM Engineers are expected to occasionally work on weekends or travel domestically to remote sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, test, and maintain a wide range of IT communication infrastructures and cabling within Data Centers and Telco exchanges
  • Support our Data Center Manager(s) in maintaining all Data Center standards, procedures, and health and safety protocols
  • Create job tickets and agree on the implementation with our Planning and Logistics Specialist(s)
  • Ensure that the Data Center is maintained and operational 24/7 by providing daily audits and reporting about the performance level of services
  • Provide Data Center remote hand support services when required
  • Provide Data Center engineering support for all remote sites
  • Hardware hands-on support for Dell, Cisco, Arista devices
  • Track and upgrade server BIOS and firmwares
  • 1+ years of data center experience in an investment bank or Telco provider
  • 1+ years of experience managing Data Center site operations in a 24x7 environment
  • 1+ years of experience managing projects inside Data Center spaces
  • 1+ years of vendor management experience (reviewing work quality, cost, and managing delivery)
  • Working knowledge of the technical requirements and builds of DC (Direct Current) power infrastructures for Data Centers and telecommunications/IT equipment
  • Proficiency in handling complex IT-related projects: from writing a proposal, initiating, and planning projects to executing, monitoring/controlling projects until and including project closure
  • Basic essential knowledge in UNIX and Networking with working knowledge of networking topologies (Layer 1 & Layer 2) and server hardware
  • Extensive hardware knowledge (changing memory and motherboard, and discussing directly with hardware vendors (Dell, HP, etc.)
  • Experience in dealing with Data Center and Colocation clients
  • Experience in installation of rack-mountable equipment
  • Good level of knowledge about Data Center Operation and Management procedures
  • Exposure or ability to develop and document operational processes
  • Good level of knowledge about Data Center power distribution and cooling systems
  • Good level of experience about monitoring Data Center environment and critical assets
  • Business level English and Japanese (JLPT N2 and above required for non-native Japanese speakers)
Nice to have:
  • Networking or Electrical or Data Center qualifications (ITIL / CDCP, CDCS or Cisco Certifications, CompTIA +)
  • Experience in investment and banking business is a plus
  • Robust team player and exposed to a multi-cultural environment
